Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a QA Developer Intern who will assist team members by performing tasks necessary to support the QA (Quality Assurance) team, as well as build foundational skills and knowledge in this area.

You will take part in various training, support and project activities aimed to help you become more familiar with the team, department structure, and IT Industry.

Location:

Open to local candidates willing to work a hybrid work schedule of both remote and onsite in our Lincoln, RI office.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday during normal business hours, as schedule allows.

Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Run automation and do root cause analysis on failures.
  • Run manual test scenario's to verify functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and isolate issues, submit bugs and work with developers.
  • Automation development (design, coding, testing).
  • Collaborate with the core automation team to assist with their tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in an IT Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college/university.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
  • Familiarity with basic computer concepts.
  • Desire to work in a technical field.
  • Java required. Proven ability to code; completed coding projects.
  • Strong OOP preferred.
  • Curious, inquisitive and willing to learn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be well organized and have the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to complete routine tasks independently over time. This includes gaining the functional, technical and problem-solving skills needed to complete assignments.
