The Investigator’s primary focus is to investigate the insurance claims field for a variety of coverage to include workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, disability, life, and healthcare. This individual must have investigative skills to independently conduct all aspects of basic surveillance investigations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Independently investigate insurance claims field for a variety of coverage to include workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, disability, life, and healthcare under close direct supervision

Collect information through use of own discretion, and guidance from clients and case managers, by means of:

Personal observation with video and photographic validation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Have experience that has been gained through:

At least five (5) years' experience as an investigator or as a police officer with a state, county or municipal police department or with an investigative agency of the United States of America or of any state, county or municipality; or

A degree in criminal justice from an accredited college or university; or

Employment by a private detective as an investigator for at least five (5) years; or

Substantively equivalent training or experience.

Must be able to successfully complete the Allied Universal Investigations PI Training/orientation course

Ability to be properly licensed as required by the state

Must possess a current and valid driver’s license

Flexibility to work varied and irregular hours and days, including weekends and holidays
