Achieve the quarterly & yearly operating plan in your customer segment(s) and geographical area while driving customer satisfaction & retention.
Be accountable for timely & accurate forecasting of pipeline & sales using our SDFC CRM.
Foster a “hunting” or developmental mindset with your team to seek out new opportunities within the Upstream modality and work with zone leaders and our new AI tools to prioritize your strategy
Provide coaching and development of your team through behavioral modeling and feedback, including the creation and execution of personalized development plans for each Account Manager
Create a strategic plan and roadmap for your region that defines where Cytiva and our customers can partner to growth and develop in the biomanufacturing and research segments. Ensure that your team’s account plans address advanced scenario planning including impacts results from changes in the customer’s funding, product development pipeline, manufacturing strategy, and consolidation.
Work cross-functionally within Cytiva to develop solutions and offerings to enable your team’s success.
Support team on contract and pricing negotiations, as well as complex and strategic deal strategy. Assist in proposal preparation and presentation to customers.
Manage your team’s expenses to stay within budget and policy
Who you are!
Bachelors degree required. Advanced degrees and/or formal business training preferred.
A strong understanding of the Biopharmaceutical, CDMO/CMO, and Research segments in the Life Science industry.
Track record of successful sales experience (7+ years)
Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development.
High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships.
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization.
