Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk role located in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, high attention to detail and multi-tasking , and implementing proficient Excel skills. Responsibilities: Handle accounts payable ensure timely bill payments Code and enter invoices into accounting software Process and print checks weekly to vendors and clients along with related reports Enter client cash receipts into accounting system Print monthly client reports and complete required reporting Reconcile monthly bank statements and file information with appropriate agencies Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills: Account Reconciliation Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing Data Entry Invoice Processing Microsoft ExcelRequirements Demonstrable proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Proven skills in Billing and Data Entry Familiarity with Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to handle Pay Checks and Prepare Checks Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software Trustworthy with an appreciation of confidentiality in handling sensitive financial informationRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
