The role is for an Accounting Specialist, where you will be tasked with ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records under the guidance of our Controller. This role involves maintaining accounting records, posting entries, preparing reconciliations, and creating financial schedules for review. For confidential consideration, please email resumes to michael.ferrise@roberthalf & connect with me via LinkedIn.Key responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records Support third-party Accounts Payable processing vendor Prepare bank deposits and keep Positive Pay files updated Conduct monthly bank reconciliations Post insurance payments to customer accounts Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and general ledger accounts are reconciled Generate and review monthly reports in Excel Assist with contract reviews and preneed insurance processes Assist Controller with weekly payroll processing Maintain both digital and physical financial records Carry out various administrative tasks as needed Participate in annual auditsRequirements Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role Proficient in Account Reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes Familiarity with Check Runs to manage company payments Ability to handle Coding Invoices for accurate record keeping Strong Data Entry skills for efficient and accurate input of financial information Proficient in Invoice Processing to ensure timely payment of bills Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting - Strongly preferred Experience with QuickBooks for managing financial tasks and reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and internal departments.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
