Bartender / Brand Ambassador

High Wire Distilling Co. is an independently owned, pioneering local distillery known for its Jimmy Red Bourbon, Hat Trick Gin, and other agriculturally-focused small batch spirits. High Wire is in search of a professional and friendly bartender with an expansive knowledge of spirits, classic cocktails, and cocktail making techniques.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for spirits education and an interest in expanding your beverage career beyond the bar. This a full time position with a manageable 40hr/wk schedule. Our current Tasting Room hours are 10am-7pm Mon-Thurs and 10am-9pm Fri-Sat. Closed on Sundays.

Qualifications:

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience in an ingredient-driven bar or restaurant

A strong work ethic, exceptional people skills, and an upbeat personality

A passion for hospitality and offering the highest levels of service

Attention to detail, strong sense of organization, and excellent communication skills

Duties:

Organize the bar area, prepare for and serve guests, and maintain a clean workstation

Complete side work and cocktail prep for the bar as assigned per shift

Provide an exceptional educational hospitality experience for guests

Assist with on-site immersion visits of distributor, retailer, whiskey club guests, and media

Participate in off-site tastings at retail stores and at private events

Conduct tours of our production facility

Cross-sell spirits and merchandise to customers making recommendations as needed
