Blood Bank Nurse

Job Title: Registered NurseJob DescriptionYou will be responsible for determining the acceptability of first-time donors and return applicant donors under the direction of the Medical Director and/or Center Licensed Physician(s). Your role will also include reviewing donor laboratory tests, making decisions impacting donor suitability, and providing medical oversight in screening, phlebotomy, and plasma processing areas. You will also perform new donor physicals, administer informed consents, maintain accurate donor records, provide immediate care for donor reactions, and administer immunizations as applicable. You will also be required to travel on an as-needed basis.Hard Skills
