Bookkeeper

Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This candidate will be expected to oversee and manage the financial data and accounting operations within our company, ensuring utmost accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in recording financial transactions, maintaining financial records, fact-checking accounting, and ensuring the company’s financial processes are accurate and in accordance with statutory regulations and legislation.Requirements Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts department.

Record day to day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances.

Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.

Ensure timely preparation and submission of annual company accounts and returns.

Reconcile bank statements and calculate tax payments and returns.

Check that accounts are accurate and review the company's income and expenses.

Monitor financial transactions and reports.

Process accounts receivable and payable.

Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with legal and company regulations.

Assist with preparation of financial statements, reports, memos, invoices, and other documents.

Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.

Liaise with the company’s external auditors or accountants where required.
