APM Realty Group property management and real estate firm is looking for a trustworthy, dedicated part time bookkeeper. The perfect candidate would have a positive attitude, be someone looking to further their career, pays close attention to detail and enjoys working with a team.

General Job Description:

The bookkeeper will participate in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly reconciliations using the AppFolio property management software system and QuickBooks.

Responsibilities / Participation in the following Task:

Accounts payable (and daily associated positive pay)

Accounts receivable

Assure that all accounts payables and receivables are appropriately applied to each transaction

Keep track of operational expenses for the office and company

Monthly bank reconciliations of security deposit, operations, and escrow accounts

Monitor and track rent collections

Enter tenant leases for move-ins and renewals

Check and process mail

Update tenant insurance plan details

Collections

Daily deposit processing and bank drop off

Annual 1099 and Cash Flow distributions to our clients

Correspond with clients as needed

Business license filings and renewals

Workers comp annual audit

Monthly payroll processing

Manage 401k plan

Ordering of all office supplies

Required Experience:

AppFolio experience ideal but not necessary.

At least 2 years of accounting experience.

Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, tenants, and clients.

Proficient computer skills.

Compensation:

$20/ hour
