Job Description

An exciting opportunity is now available for a Branch Manager, based in Queanbeyan, NSW.

This position will involve developing as well as delivering the strategic goals within a network organisation whilst growing revenue through customer care and innovation and manage the financial performance of the branch.

Safety will also be an important focus within the role, financial, operations and performance of the Branch whilst managing staff development and positively influencing customer relationships.

Additional duties of the role will also include:

  • Managing operational and administrative teams
  • Providing leadership to the teams to ensure their success
  • Recruitment of new staff as well as mentoring, training and development of current staff
  • The achievement of budgeted financial targets and progression towards positive EBIT
  • Sales development and growth in operations
  • Monitoring and overseeing service and development of the business operation
  • Identifying new business opportunities and actively work with the corporate sales team to secure such opportunities
  • Oversee effective management of assets and branch compliance

Qualifications

To be considered for this position you will have:

  • Previous industry experience preferred although not essential
  • PNL knowledge highly regarded
  • Driver Management/Fleet Management exposure
  • Coaching/mentoring staff
  • Management of 15 drivers in the depo as well as 15 on road
  • Strong people management skills
  • Microsoft suite proficient
  • Integrate customer requirements with business needs
  • Knowledge of and ability to use continuous improvement tools and principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees
  • Ability to facilitate change
