Gather requirements for new business projects and help shape requirements where there are gaps

Ensure the broader program architecture across enterprise systems adheres to standard methodologies and established patterns and influence where needed

Understand the impacts of a new project to existing systems/work in the data ecosystem

Organize the necessary work, identify what data is needed, and design high-level solutions

Unwind the nuance of our data and the existing technical landscape (both across the enterprise and in legacy data artifacts) to understand implications for new project architectures and analytical reporting

Develop a project plan for the work, considering broader priorities, resource constraints, and estimates from implementation teams

Socialize and gain alignment on the information and artifacts with broader data leadership

Keep a pulse on projects during the implementation phase and surface status and risks/issues to program leadership

How you will collaborate with others:

Work with internal partners such as Business, Product, Technology, Analytics to progress prioritized enterprise programs and advocate for data-first mindset further upstream in the lifecycle

Provide support to our internal data teams by driving clearly defined work, proactively getting ahead of risks and issues, aligning across the broader data organization, and keeping lines of communication open

What projects you will take ownership of:

You will understand and shape high-level requirements for new business projects for the Hilton Data organization and create high-level solutions inclusive of data design and technical patterns to deliver on these projects. You will work within the scope of a Business Domain.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FITYou have these minimum qualifications:

Five (5) years of work experience in Technology or a related field.

Four (4) years of specialized experience in Data

Four (4) years of experience in Architecture

Four (4) years of experience managing projects

Knowledge of and experience with Cloud, hybrid environments, and data platforms

Travel up to 15% (if applicable)

It would be useful if you have:

Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6 years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12 years of Technology related experience

Seven (7) years of work experience in Technology or a related field.

AWS (Amazon Web Services) experience

Travel/Hospitality industry experience
