Based in Townsville, this Cadet Structural Designer role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced engineers and designers on a diverse range of projects.This is a perfect role for candidates wanting to study for their Associate Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Southern QLD or Central QLD University in 2027 and work at the same time. AECOM will pay for your studies and you''ll have a paid job with us - do not miss this opportunity! In this role, you will:Assist with providing drafting and design input, as well as technical support in the production of engineering drawings and documentation.Contribute to the delivery of small to major projects, including mining, industrial and infrastructure projects.Produce accurate and high-quality design drawings and documentation with a strong attention to detail.Collaborate with senior and lead designers, engineers and project managers to deliver project outcomes.Develop practical technical skills and gain exposure to multidisciplinary project delivery across the project lifecycle.Work within a fast-paced and dynamic team environment while building your professional engineering career.
