Cloud Automation Engineer

Remote Opportunity!We are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer to work with the cloud infrastructure team to build and operate a world-class global Kubernetes infrastructure to include cluster management, CI/CD tooling, monitoring, metrics, and logging in a way that supports the business needs for scalability, availability, and confidentiality. Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience creating solutions using Azure, AWS, or other major public cloud
• 2 years of experience with Kubernetes at scale
• Experience with:
  • Developing cloud architecture and designing new solutions
  • DevOps practices and principles, SRE methods, and other up-to-date methodologies for getting the most out of cloud infrastructure
• Knowledge of operators, frameworks, networking, and containerization
• Fluent in English communication both verbal and written
• Demonstrated experience building CI/CD systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage time, deadlines, conflicting priorities, and challenging requirements

• Cloud technology and security, such as CKAD, CKA, CISSP, and Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Azure Admin Associate)

• Design and implement declarative infrastructure in multiple environments and multiple countries
• Apply advanced security and privacy controls to protect customer data
• Facilitate developers use of CI/CD tooling
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for security, integrity, and scale
• Troubleshoot and fix issues impacting the infrastructure solutions
• Automate using Kubernetes API, cloud provider CLI, and other tools
• Provide logging, monitoring, and networking infrastructure to development teams
• Implement and support infrastructure automation tools for development teams, including feedback loops and data aggregation
• Continuously experiment and evaluate emerging technology for use in company solutions
