Cloud Data Engineer Primary Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Cloud Data Engineer client in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This is a contract position in automotive industry. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Education and Experience »- Python is a must. Development experience is also a must.
- AWS experience is strongly preferred. Experience with S3, Terraform, Glue, Spark, Hadoop, Linux, Networking, Athena would be preferred.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:Job Responsibilities:- Responsible for all of the data in our data lake which is moved into AWS.
- Responsible for the ingestion work and all the transformations that happen with the data sets to make it consumable for use cases.
- Working on ingestion jobs and use cases to understand the business logic that needs to happen for the data to make sense from a business perspective.
- There is a lot of development with Python and understanding of Terraform and Glue and Athena within AWS.
