Based in Banksmeadow NSW theCommercial Manager will havea national focus across the NSW and VIC plastics division. We are seeking a hands-on professional who is familiar with an Operational or Manufacturing environment and is as comfortable in the warehouse talking withoperators as they are liaising with Senior leaders, to influence change.The overall remit of the Commercial Manager is toprovidecommercial leadership, support, and advice to the GL Industrials Leadership team as well as business managers, senior operators and administration teams on business related decisions that impact profitability, customer retention and business growth.

Your responsibilitieswill include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of new business proposals, capital expenditure to ensure investment proposals meet business unit, divisional and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Facilitate, encourage, and support the adoption of continuous improvement. methodologies to improve overall business performance.
  • Involvement of the implementation of a 10-year contract.
  • Management of admin team.
  • Review and analysis and reporting ofsite results and providingrecommendations to improve performance.
  • Formal operational review with the customer as well as general liaison.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication skills and the abilty to influence change through. conversationsfrom the ground up.
  • Strong analytical background understanding data and driving outcomes from data.
  • An understanding of an Operational or Manufaturing environment.
  • Good people leader experience.
  • Tiertiary qualification in Business with a CPA Qualificationpreferred.
  • Transport exposure desirable not essential.
