Description We are seeking a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our team located in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will administer employee benefits programs, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide exceptional support to employees and HR partners. This role is a contract to hire employment opportunity that requires a thorough understanding of benefits administration, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.Responsibilities: Administer and manage employee benefits programs Ensure compliance with benefits regulations and requirements Provide exceptional support to employees and HR partners Maintain accurate records of benefits and retirement plans Handle inquiries related to benefits and retirement plans Utilize Oracle and other systems for benefits administration Apply strong analytical skills to review and interpret benefits materials Maintain organization and manage calendar for retirement plan facets Deliver clear, concise, and compassionate presentations to small groups and one-on-one settings Provide exceptional customer service while working with various teams.Requirements Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Demonstrated experience with Benefit Functions and Claim Administration Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Proven customer service skills and the ability to handle customer queries efficiently Knowledge and experience with Retirement Plans and Pension Administration Ability to manage calendars and coordinate meetings or events Experience in preparing, creating, delivering, and making effective presentations Familiarity with Oracle or similar software systems Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data effectively Experience in the banking industry would be advantageous Understanding of compensation and benefits strategies within the banking industry.
