CONTRUCTION HELPER & APPRENTICE

Local builder and remodeler looking for helper labor, full or part time.

This is a job that can easily grow into full time work with a huge opportunity to learn many trades - drywall, painting, trim carpentry, framing, tile setting, etc. We do very good work and are looking for people who are interested in working with their hands, being physically active, and helpful and polite to customers.

The job is probably best for someone without too much experience in construction so that he or she can learn the best way to do things. Though, if you have construction skills and are in need of work, please also email.

You must be able to lift at least 30 pounds so generally the job is better suited for a young man or an athletic woman. If you have a background in the military - Marines, Army, etc. - this tends to be a positive in our experience. If you know how to draw or paint accurately and have a sense of design that is a positive. We do a lot of very nice finish work - cabinetry, painting, tile, trim carpentry, etc.

Pay is on a scale of skill set. The pay goes up fairly quickly based on your ability to learn and take on responsibility.
