Who knows where our shared journey will take you? The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Lighting Panel Shipping Associate, Level 3 to be an integral member of a diverse and dynamic team. As a LP Shipping Associate, you will support the production lines in the movement of freight, stock, supplies, and other materials from one area to another; assist with the packaging of finished goods, loading and unloading items onto trucks, shelves or pallets. You will understand production schedules and maintain continuous flow of materials.This position offers the chance for you to grow, contribute and learn as far as your growth mindset takes you. Operate tools and equipment common to the material handling trade (e.g. Manual and powered sit-down and stand up industrial trucks)

Enforce 5S, 7 Wastes and other lean principles in the team/area

Prepare critical and customer specific finished units for shipping (e.g. packing, sealing, and labeling, etc)

Process systems transactions through SAP and WM Data Management systems in adherence to schedule or expedited orders

Scan in and out of work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc). adherence to the production schedule

Responsible to accommodate requests of Production and Shipping personnel

Utilize SAP and WM Data Management program to look up parts

Perform other work as directed by Supervision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2 years in manufacturing environment/experience

Knowledge of sit down and stand-up industrial trucks (training will be provided for candidates who do not have lift training)

Knowledge of all operations of storage/fabrication/assembly locations

Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.

Must be able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climb
