Cybersecurity Ops Principal

DescriptionSAIC is seeking a Principal Cyber Security Ops team member for a future program. The work will be performed on site in Charleston, SC.This position is contingent upon award, anticipated in Fall 2023.The new program will enable analysis of advanced technology experiments in platforms and space systems. And additionally, generate STI in the form of designs, test plans, test reports, evaluations, and technical studies, as well as the recommended integration of prototype components and designs. Our team will conduct and support a wide range of defense-systems and weapons systems related studies, evaluations, and analysis of methods.Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Utilize in-depth knowledge of cyber capabilities and the Joint Operational Planning process to Identify, track, and resolve issues affecting training, exercises, and daily operations.

May provide crisis action and deliberate planning support for offensive and defensive operations.

Ensure exercise activities adhere to customer exercise plans, policies, and procedures to establish overall objectives, priorities and plans for the joint exercise program, assuring focus on issues and challenges critical to pursuit of cyberspace operations.

Synchronizing plans and requirements with major military exercises; reviewing and evaluating cyber policy directives/documents and issue papers; assisting customers with identifying and developing requirements; providing the technical research analysis and recommendations to develop cyberspace courses of actions, tactics, techniques and procedures in order to support cyberspace operations.

Apply analytical methodologies to assess measures of performance for operation scenarios, develop documents such as after action reports, lessons observed and learned, as well as results and conclusions.

QualificationsJob Requirements:

Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience, or additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree

Extensive experience with the Joint Exercise Life Cycle and Joint Operational Planning process is required to ensure appropriate recommendations to Command authorities and resources for applicable staff elements.

Active TS/SCI clearance
