Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in North Charleston, South Carolina. The role involves managing and maintaining accurate data related to manufacturing processes using various software tools, including SAP and Microsoft Excel.Responsibilities: Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintenance of precise customer credit records. Monitoring customer accounts and executing appropriate actions. Creation and maintenance of part numbers in SAP, adhering to established standards. Understanding and utilizing SAP part types for multi-plant production scenarios. Establishment and upkeep of Bills of Material. Developing and maintaining Routings as directed by Manufacturing Engineering. Assisting Engineering with change management and communication to relevant parties. Undertaking Engineering Change Order creation and implementation. Conducting Inventory Management functions within SAP. Understanding and executing Document Control functions and Work Order creation and maintenance. Assisting with purchasing activities, including planning and procurement of raw materials. Requirements Proficient in 10 Key Skills for accurate and efficient data entry Demonstrated experience in Data Entry, preferably in a manufacturing environment Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management and calculations Ability to perform complex calculations related to manufacturing costs and inventory Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning software Understanding of the manufacturing industry, including knowledge of raw materials and their inventory Familiarity with the operations of a manufacturing facility Experience in managing purchasing activities and functions in a manufacturing setting Knowledge of purchasing materials and planning for manufacturing processes Experience in Purchasing Procurement, preferably in the manufacturing industry Proficiency in Basecamp or similar project management tools for coordinating purchasing activities.
