Description We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst located in Columbia, South Carolina. As a Data Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing data, utilizing various data analysis tools, and reporting findings to assist in decision-making processes. Responsibilities: Utilize data analysis tools such as Pivot Table, Power BI, and Cognos to extract, analyze, and interpret data. Develop and maintain reports using BusinessObjects Technologies and Microsoft SQL. Process and interpret data using Apache Spark and Atlassian Jira for efficient data management. Conduct Gap Analysis to identify areas of improvement in data management processes. Use Erwin Data for data modeling and design to ensure data integrity and quality. Collaborate with various teams to understand data needs and implement data solutions. Prepare detailed reports based on data analysis findings, and present these reports to relevant stakeholders. Ensure data privacy and security protocols are adhered to in all data management processes. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to data analysis tools and technologies. Provide technical support and training to team members on data analysis tools and reporting systems.Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data analytics, data reporting, and/or data visualization Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret complex data with accuracy and precision Expertise in using data analysis tools for the extraction and manipulation of data Experience in creating Pivot Tables for data summarization Proficiency in Power BI for creating interactive data visualizations Knowledge of Cognos for business intelligence and data analytics Proficiency in Microsoft SQL for managing and manipulating relational databases Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present data findings Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions Experience working within a government setting would be advantageous Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines A high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
