Omnicare Pharmacy is looking for a full-time pharmacy delivery technician to work as a part of the pharmacy delivery dispensing team. Applicants will be required to assist in the dispatching and office process. You can start your career on the path you would expect from an industry leader and join our team today.In addition to career growth, other benefits offered include:- Competitive pay and benefits- Paid training, including a state approved Pharmacy Technician in Training Program- Paid tuition at Capella and Strayer University- Employee discount programsAs a Pharmacy Delivery Technician at Omnicare Pharmacy, you will:- Work in an environment where the highest professional and ethical standards are maintained as well as full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.- Work in a fast-paced environment which demonstrates compassionate, genuine care for patients and customers- Take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients with all colleagues demonstrating ethical conduct and maintaining continual patient confidentiality.- Work with pharmacy colleagues to ensure each delivery leaves the pharmacy at the appropriate time to ensure the medication is delivered to designated location in a timely manner.- Transport and deliver medication, items, and equipment to patients in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss- Maintain delivery log of activities per policy and procedure, which include checking and/or logging recipient identification- Report status and any problems to pharmacy management- Maintain company cars by cleaning inside and out, fueling, and reporting any mechanical issues immediately to management- Maintain Medication and Treatment Carts by cleaning and performing minor repairs- Limited delivery personnel may be instructed on major repairs to the medication and treatment carts- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work under limited supervision- Navigate their routes using basic internet map programs such as Google Maps or Map QuestWorkstations include:- Staging- Receiving- Non-Sterile Compounding- Automation- Delivery- Performing other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications Current valid driver's license in the state at the level required for the vehicle's operation One year driving experience May be asked to use personal vehicle to complete deliveries and will be reimbursed personal mileage expenses per CVSH mileage reimbursement policy Work flexible hours which may include evenings and weekends Work on-call Comply with our policy on the allowable uniform and dress code requirements Knowledge of clean and dirty equipment requirements and other equipment and product transportation regulations (if applicable)Physical Requirements You must be able to bend down, lift and carry up 25lbs while walking upstairs You must be able to be physically active for the entire shift, and stand for intermittent periods of timeCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires its Colleagues in certain positions to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, pregnancy, or religious belief that prevents them from being vaccinated.If you are vaccinated, you are required to have received at least one COVID-19 shot prior to your first day of employment and to provide proof of your vaccination status within the first 10 days of your employment. Failure to provide timely proof of your COVID-19 vaccination status will result in the termination of your employment with CVS Health.
