DIRECT HIRE - The “Regional Sales Director” reports to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for leading their regional sales organization to achievement of revenue goals through the implementation of both strategic and tactical sales activities. The Regional Sales Director, South will develop, implement, and closely monitor sales strategies, effectiveness, processes, and sales plans to achieve the growth and financial goals of the assigned areas. This position will also be responsible for developing, coaching, and directing Account Executives in alignment with the Renalytix Cultural Values (Accountability, Communication, Teamwork, Strategic Thinking & Initiative, Urgency). The Regional Sales Director, South, will work closely with the Commercial Partnership team and aligned customers in implementing our product/s into health systems and HCP offices.Renalytix is an in-vitro diagnostics and laboratory services company that is the global founder and leader in the new field of bioprognosis™ for kidney health. The leadership team, with a combined 200+ years of healthcare and in-vitro diagnostic experience, has designed its KidneyIntelX laboratory developed test to enable risk assessment for rapid progressive decline in kidney function in adult patients with T2D (Type 2 Diabetes) and early-stage chronic kidney disease CKD (chronic kidney disease) (stages 1-3). We believe that by understanding how kidney disease will progress, patients and providers can act early to improve outcomes and reduce overall health system costs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:Develop and implement effective direct to provider sales strategies and lead team toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.Provide leadership through effective communication of vision and active coaching and development, while taking appropriate action to hold teams accountable to objectives.Attract, engage, develop, and retain top performers and high potential account executives with a high focus in the Primary Care market.Provide guidance and coaching through field visits, observations, and measurement of results.Align sales priorities with necessary skills to support marketing strategies.Assess sales training needs to address any gaps or opportunities.Leverage PowerBI/Salesforce Data in the development and execution of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts for designated regionManage budget/spend to ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual spending is within the financial plan. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including sales reporting and forecasting, including effective and timely roll-out of compliance training, assessments, and certifications. Establish and maintain effective formal and informal connections with major customers, key decision-makers, and other stakeholders, to ensure customer retention and product utilization. Utilize the SFDC CRM database to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness and aid sales (& ensure compliance of direct reports)Represent Renalytix at local, state, and regional society conferences and help identify the best conferences to have company attendance. Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork with regional team and cross functionally.Collaborate extensively with the Commercial management team, department heads, and external partners to drive long-term growth through accelerated and focused implementation of critical initiatives.Take part in the development of organizational strategic plans through a competitive surveillance function that leads to a better understanding of competitor activities, market, technology, and customer trends.#LI-EC2
