Distribution Centre Intern

We are looking for two enthusiastic Distribution Centre Interns to join our team in Linbro Park, Johannesburg. This is a full time internship designed for individuals eager to gain hands on experience in warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control within a dynamic industrial service environment.As a Distribution Centre Intern, you will support our delivery operations team with day-to-day warehouse activities, including inventory management, goods receiving, order preparation, and quality checks. This internship offers great exposure to supply chain processes and the opportunity to learn from experienced warehouse professionals.Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of your internship, you will assist with:Providing counter support to internal technicians and external customersHandling parts returns and warranty processingAssisting with invoicing and processing requisitions or work ordersPreparing customer and internal orders: pulling stock, packing items, and staging orders for deliveryLoading and unloading materials from delivery vehiclesChecking incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentsInspecting incoming and outgoing items for damage, defects, or missing parts and reporting issuesSupporting inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock location updatesMaintaining pricing records and helping coordinate vendor deliveries and collectionsFollowing specialised procedures such as rope-cutting dispatchKeeping the warehouse clean, safe, and compliant with operational standardsReporting any issues in the shipping or receiving process to the Warehouse SupervisorSupporting quality system procedures, internal audits, corrective actions, and customer feedback processesEnsuring all tasks are completed in line with company policies and delegated authority guidelines
