Live and work in the beautiful Blue Mountains region of Australia A rare and exciting opportunity is available for a passionate, creative, and hands-on Executive Chef to develop and drive the culinary journey at the Multi Award-Winning Fairmont Resort Blue Mountains.We are looking for an experienced and professional individual with strong leadership skills and culinary experience to contribute to leading our culinary offering and team all whilst enhancing and building your career with the resort and within Accor. Reporting to the General Manager and as a member of the Executive Committee - working with our passionate, dynamic and professional team you will have the opportunity to:Manage, inspire, and lead a large diverse team to create an outstanding dining experience for our guests delivering consistent, high quality food whilst maintaining food costs.Oversee all aspects relating to the management of the kitchen operations; including the food safety plans, WHS, HACCP, financial forecasting, rostering, stock taking, quality control, menu planning and development of programs to maximise revenue opportunities.Foster positive relationships with other key departments, GM, EAM, Owners Representatives and suppliers to meet business needs.Creative, flexible and adaptable to guest requests and trends.Manage brand and resort standards associated with the KitchenService multiple outlets and different types of service from large functions and events, fine dining restaurant, banqueting, Al a Carte, CafĂ© and In-Room dining.Enjoy coaching and developing your team to succeed professionally via regular 1:1 meeting, personal development plans, appraisals, training and reward and recognition programs.
