Financial Accountant

Your OpportunityAs our Financial Accountant, you’ll support the Financial Reporting & Control team across month-end close, general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting and key control activities. This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity reporting to the Financial Controller within Group Finance. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a strong financial control environment while supporting accurate reporting, audit readiness and the overall financial integrity of the Group. You’ll also make an impact by:Supporting month-end and year-end close processes including general journals and central accounting tasks. Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data. Assisting with financial statements, board reporting packs, variance analysis and regulatory reporting requirements. Supporting external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries. Helping maintain financial systems, processes and procedures with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement. Assisting with operational readiness for the Workday general ledger solution including pre and post go-live activities.
