Fixed Asset Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Fixed Asset Accountant in Columbia, South Carolina. This role falls within the non-profit industry, with a focus on maintaining and overseeing fixed assets, including vehicles. The workplace will be a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all fixed assets within the organization. Handle asset inventory oversight, including asset tagging. Manage assets in the property management system. Conduct depreciation, handle disposals, and manage new assets effectively. Work closely with CFO to ensure financial accuracy. Utilize QuickBooks for accounting purposes. Apply skills in Accounting Functions, Accrual Accounting, Capitalization, and Fixed Asset Accounting. Collaborate with the team to ensure effective communication and smooth operations. Perform depreciation Journal Entries as part of the accounting process.
