The Full Charge Bookkeeper position Robert Half is currently filling and could be a good fit for you. Based in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the Full Charge Bookkeeper role is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity. The role will be responsible for all general accounting and bookkeeping functions including the preparation of financial statements. You will also be establishing and maintaining the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.Your responsibilities in this role

Completing bank and general ledger reconciliations; processing payroll

Overseeing accounting and bookkeeping tasks, seeking someone with Netsuite experience.

Producing the trial balance and financial statements, including, but not limited to, balance sheet and statements of income and of cash flows

Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets

Executing accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, such as collections

Maintaining adherence to federal, state, and local legal requirements by keeping up to date on them, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions

Carefully filing documents to preserve historical records

Handling monthly, quarterly and year end close, accurately and on time

Requirements - Previous experience with payroll preferred

High school diploma or equivalent required, and AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred

Strong time management and organizational skills

Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports

Ability to multitask, collaborate and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with Excel, Quickbooks, and Peachtree

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

Foundational knowledge in Credit card accounting

Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

Experience with ADP - Payroll

Proficiency in account reconciliation

A thorough knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting

3+ years of bookkeeping experience
