In this role, you will be responsible for leading a growing wire harness and wire kitting business that defense and commercial customers rely upon to deliver sophisticated solutions that are both on time and on budget. This role holds full profit and loss responsibility for the business, and also acts as overall site leader for the Simpsonville, SC site and its 300+ employees. And consistent with the Collins Management System, this position will act as the integrated project team leader with responsibility for alignment and cohesive leadership of cross-functional support from Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and other support functions.Primary Responsibilities:

Site Lead for Woven Electronics, LLC between two site locations; Simpsonville, South Carolina (primary) and Nogales, Mexico

Lead business to ensure adherence to program plans, schedules, and budgets

Run a profitable and predictable business through accurate forecasting, on-time deliveries, and management of risks and opportunities

Manage important vendors and develop milestones, program plans, schedules, and budgets for programs

Prepare and present value-stream strategy, progress, and results to senior executive leadership

Support annual strategic planning efforts for the business

Guide continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and quality

Identify and react to program problems and support solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications

Support the development of new business growth strategies

Coordinate responses to customer action items

Supervise the appropriate use of all resources allocated to the business to ensure efficient use of resources

In concert with other functional experts, leads business processes to include pursuit & order capture, engineering development, production, and sustainment

Delivers consistent results and develops strategic initiatives for the future

Leverages Collins Management System in addressing all program needs required to be successful

Establish and promote a cohesive and positive leadership culture that ensures and drives a strong working environment and high employee engagement

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Ability to engage a team around a shared vision and strategy, can clearly communicate complex messages.
