Job Title: GIS IT Systems Analyst Description: Prefer local to Richmond; flexible to be local to Cayce, SC office-Will consider candidates who are willing to relocate at own expenseTeam is currently working on a hybrid schedule. 1 full week in the office and then home the following week. Role Description: Successful candidate will be part of the IT GIS team, will need to create system analysis documents, have some experience installing and configuring Esri software, be able conduct QA walkthroughs. Must be able to design solutions and make improvements on existing solutions. Will have to implement and oversee implementation of released. Top Skills Needed: - At least 5+ years of GIS IT experience- Technical experience with Schneider Electric- Extensive experience and knowledge of Esri GIS softwareInstallation and administration of Desktop, Extensions, ArcGIS Enterprise Server and Portal. (ArcGIS 10.x, ArcFM 10.x, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server 10.x, Portal for ArcGIS 10.x, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcPro, Utility Network and others)-Expertise with ArcGIS Server and geodatabase- Able to manage multiple projects at once and remain cool under pressure- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and effective time management-Require minimal direction in daily operation and problem resolution Ideal Candidate Background: - Experience working with Gas and or Electric utility GIS systems We are looking for an SA with GIS IT experience. - 5+ years of related IT or GIS IT experience
- Technical experience with Schneider Electric ArcFM Suite and ESRI GIS software (ArcGIS 9.3, ArcGIS 10.x, ArcFM, ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server 10.x, Portal for ArcGIs 10.4+, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcPro and others
- The ability to provide geospatial analysis techniques, support and configurations.
- The ability to provide vision and establish best practices
- Fluency in programming skills such as: SQL, Python, .NET, ArcObjects, ArcGIS Model Builder and other spatial data processing tools
- Strong Oracle spatial skills and some SQL server skills
- Knowledge of GIS web application development using ArcGIS Server JavaScript APIs with web development technologies such as HTML5, XML, CSS3, Ajax, DOJO, JQuery, JavaScript, REST, and SOAP/XML Web Services
- Ability to be productive with little direction
- Training and leadership skills in order to lead and mentor less experienced analysts
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well with PMs and peers to complete work
- Ability to meet with the business in a team setting, develop requirements collaboratively, and produce proper documentation
- Must be able to manage multiple projects at once and remain cool under pressure.
