Job Description

We have an opportunity for a

Graduate Systems Engineer to join our Global Networks team.You willfocuson assisting with the management and automation of our computing infrastructure, systems development,integration and support.

You will have access to people who are experts in their field to help you apply what you have learned at University into practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering and maintaining infrastructure for a number of MNF Group business segments
  • Enhancing our existing core systems infrastructure using automation and orchestration tools
  • Advocating infrastructure automation and ensuringdeployments are repeatable across development and production environments
  • Driving continuous improvement, proof of concepts and constantly exploring new technologies, tools and ways
  • Working collaboratively with Software and Network teams in deploying and supporting systems and services to achieve engineering best practice.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues within designated business segments
  • Working in an

    Agile environment, and helping improve these practices

Qualifications

  • A recently completed university degree or qualification in IT, Computer Science or Engineering related degrees, or equivalent relevant experience
  • High performing, demonstrated by a credit average grade
  • Previous work experience or internship is an advantage
  • Exposure in Linux (Redhat/Centos) and/or Windows systems administration/deployment
  • Scripting experience using Bash, Python is an advantage
  • Ability to think outside of the box, and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
  • You are highly motivated and able to work autonomously and collaboratively
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • A great sense of humour!
