Heavy Equipment Operators and Underground Utility Pipe Layers

Location: Early, Branch, SC

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (plenty of overtime available)

Start Date: Immediate

Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent – Long-term career opportunity

Position 1: Dozer - Excavator Heavy Equipment Operators (GPS Required)

Pay: $20 – $25/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Operate GPS-equipped dozers and excavators safely on civil, mining, and commercial sites

Perform site prep including trenching, rough and finish grading

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and grade stakes

Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inspections

Support general labor tasks on site

Follow all safety protocols and company policies

Qualifications:

3–5+ years experience operating GPS-enabled dozers and excavators

Strong knowledge of grading techniques

Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes accurately

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Must pass background check and drug screening

Authorized to work in the US

Proper use of PPE required: Steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves

Position 2: Underground Utility Pipe Layers

Pay: $18 – $22/hour DOE

Responsibilities:

Install underground piping systems for water, sewer, and storm drainage

Lay pipe precisely to meet line and grade specifications

Assist with trenching, pipe bedding, and backfilling

Operate hand and power tools safely

Support site prep and general labor tasks

Maintain a safe, clean work environment

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years experience in underground utility pipe installation

Ability to read grade stakes and follow directions precisely

Reliable transportation

Must pass background check and drug screening

Authorized to work in the US

Proper use of PPE required: Steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, gloves
