Job Title: Ignition EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Ignition Engineer with a strong background in OOP languages such as Python, Java, VB.Net, and C. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform, SQL databases, and building ETL packages. This role involves writing and debugging Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code, performing corrective maintenance, and commissioning industrial networks. You will also be responsible for integrating ERP/MOMS/MES systems with HMI/SCADA systems and handling industrial data collection/IIOT tasks.Responsibilities

Write and debug Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code in accordance with programmer work instructions or customer requirements.

Perform corrective maintenance, non-routine repair, modification, troubleshooting, and calibration of PLC/HMI code and system components.

Commission industrial networks and establish stable communication between PLCs and their network components, switches, and ancillary devices.

Integrate ERP/MOMS/MES systems with HMI/SCADA systems.

Configure industrial network equipment for reliable and secure plant-wide communication, with a focus on SDNs.

Handle industrial data collection and IIOT tasks.

Essential Skills

Experience with OOP languages such as Python, Java, VB.Net, and C.

Proficiency in Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform.

Experience with SQL databases.

Hands-on experience building ETL packages.

Ability to write and debug PLC code.

Experience with industrial data collection/IIOT.

Experience configuring industrial network equipment for reliable and secure plant-wide communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Aviation experience is a plus.

Must be able to commute to Asheville, NC.
