Partially Remote position and they would be expected to travel to the office 2 x week on average.There is some flexibility here, but candidate would still need to be close enough to practically come on site.Interview Process: Two interview levels. Initial interview is typically 30 mins with myself and SMEs. Viable candidates then go to second round with myself and management.Core hours M-F 8:30a – 5PM.Flexible scheduling considered.Potential Contract to Perm –Graphic design and Audio-Visual/Media skills are a plus, but not required.DutiesDesigns technical onboarding training, staff development courses, refresher trainings, just-in-time trainings, operational updates, and coaching for a diverse audience of employees. Designs and renovates various training programs. May act in a lead role for departmental efforts and as a mentor for new training specialists.20% Develops and maintains course materials including guides, training records, assessments, and lesson plans. Collects data to measure the desired performance outcomes and make any necessary adjustments to course curriculum. Develops, revises, and reviews training materials20% Designs custom content using design principles for traditional, e-learning, and blended training solutions. Ensures course implementation is working as designed.20% Designs objectives and performance measurements based on training needs analysis. Ensures course implementation is working as desired. Collects data to ensure desired performance outcomes are met.20% Coaches, mentors, trains, and leads training team in creating and implementing learning modules for on-line, blended, and traditional learning solutions. Provides guidance and mentoring to the trainers related to curriculum development. Leads workgroups and meetings to assess training needs.10% Serves at the first point of contact for new training request. Works closely with support staff and consults with management, subject matter experts, and clients/customers to design effective and efficient training.10% Serves as the first point of contact for projects related to training design, development, and implementation. Develops new training requests with complete analysis on course of action. Lead various workgroups and meetings to assess training needs.SkillsRequired Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals/groups and the measurement of training effectiveness; communication and dissemination techniques and methods of communication to include written, oral and visual media.Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality and interest; learning and motivation. Select/use training/instructional methods.Capability to adapt to ever-changing business environments and priorities. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively.Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office. Learning Management Systems (LMS).Preferred Skills and Abilities: Uses logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.Preferred Software and Other Tools: Instructional design, electronic media design or related work experience using multiple course creation tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Studio, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, Animate, etc.) Adobe Digital Learning Solutions (Captivate, Presenter, Connect, etc.) HTML, SQL, JavaScript, Visual Basic or similar related tools.Work Environment: Typical office environment.
