Description SAIC is seeking an

Integration Technician I to join our team at the office in North Charleston, SC. The candidate will support activities such as designing, testing, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly, and installation of C4I. The candidate will assist in prototype electro mechanical systems installation procedures, experimental design circuitry, transmission devices or specialized test equipment. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems; the candidate will also work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform multiple tasks using written detailed instructions.
  • Install electrical and mechanical equipment/components.
  • Perform inspections for proper installation.
  • Assembled communication equipment using standard hand tools.
  • Assembly drawings and technical manual and specific written and oral instructions.
  • Trouble shoot and repair electrical components.

Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Physical Science; or Formal electronics training from a Technical School; or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Zero (0) years of experience required.
  • OR High school diploma/GED equivalent and three (3) years of practical experience to include: laboratory testing, manufacturing, or maintenance.
Required Security Clearance:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD Public Trust security clearance. Active clearances accepted.
