Internet Engineer (MS SQL)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field of work or equivalent work experience
• 4 years of experience with:
  • MS SQL
  • Design of complex web intelligence reports and dashboards
  • Azure Power Platform
  • Data modeling
  • Data warehousing
• 2 years of experience with:
  • Power BI
  • MS Access
  • User access permissions and role-based access control
  • Business analysis experience to include data flow diagrams, requirements specifications, use case scenarios, and acceptance testing
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with technical staff, customers, and others involved in data-centric management
• Knowledge of IT best practices, organization, and operations
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

• Support and develop visual reports, scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop and Power Platform
• Work with financial staff to understand business needs and requirements
• Evaluate various financial data sources and evaluate complex formulas to define and implement data strategy for data transformation
• Ensure security associated with data sources and Power BI products
• Create DAX queries and advanced level calculations on data sets based on reporting requirements
• Develop, modify, test, implement, and support dashboards and back-end data modeling workflow within Microsoft Azure and Power Platform
• Expand capabilities through the creation of new data workflow, reports, and dashboards
• Assist with design and implementation of data structures within the environment and associated data sources associated with financial systems
• Program DAX and SQL
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Review and monitor usage reports to improve reporting capabilities
• Assist with Office 365 environment, permissions, and security associated with Power BI products
• Provide support to end users
• Create supporting project and system documentation
• Work in a collaborative effort to conceptualize total systems and/or product solutions currently in place
