We want your knowledge and expertise!We are seeking aInterventional Radiology Technologist for a Full Time, Rotating Weeekends position to assist and support the Interventional & Neuro Radiologists.What you will do in this role:Performs Interventional & Neuro Radiology exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.

Charges for procedures and supply items upon completion of procedure.

Provides post procedure care to the patient (includes holding pressure as well as cleaning, suturing and bandaging of procedure site), and obtains informed consent.

Effectively assists members of the health care team with specific procedures and treatments; shares knowledge and expertise with others and willingly assists co-workers, fosters teamwork and contributes to team goals.

Maintains effective communication with patient and staff; collaborates and confers with the radiologist, colleagues and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.

Executes protocol appropriately on all radiographic equipment

Takes patient history and retrieves any necessary orders or prior images.

Appropriately completes documentation including patient demographics, images and dose data.

Coordinates patient flow and checks daily list to ensure all exams are complete.

Supports ALARA by appropriately alerting physicians of intra-procedure dose thresholds.

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiography program and ARRT is Required

VI, CI or CV Certificates preferred

1 year of Interventional experience is strongly preferred

ARRT and SCRQSA Registry is required.

BLS Certification required
