Job Description:This is a State of Emergency Request due to the COVID-19 crisis. Per the amendment to the solicitation, candidates will be shortlisted to the Hiring Manager as they are submitted into Beeline and not held for the 7 days. The Hiring Manager is required to interview a minimum of three candidates but may select a candidate to hire anytime within the 7 days that this request is open. The request will be placed on hold at the time a candidate is selected for hire or after 7 days whichever comes first.

SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:The position is focused on planning, developing, documenting & exchanging knowledge with onsite team using industry best practices. Typical work consists of developing custom web parts, workflows, forms & solutions in all phases of the SDLC process (planning, developing, testing & support) in a Sharepoint Online environment.

DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:The SharePoint Developer will report to the SCDHHS Enterprise Application Services Director. The SharePoint Developer will work with DHHS network engineers and Content Management Team staff. The position is focused on planning, developing, documenting & exchanging knowledge with onsite team using industry best practices.

Typical work consists of developing custom web parts, workflows, forms & solutions in all phases of the SDLC process (planning, developing, testing & support) in a SharePoint Online environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):• 3+ years of working in a development role supporting SharePoint Online (O365).• 2+ years server-side development using ASP.Net & C# / client side using HTML/CSS/JavaScript & strong knowledge of general web development.• Solid skills in XML/XSD/XSLT/CAML/LINQ• General experience working with SQL/MS BI Stack & other DBMS• A deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, services & features, site design & best practices.• Deep knowledge & understanding of the roles of SharePoint and the relationships to one another & business processes. This includes, but is not limited to: Security/Roles, Search, ECM/Metadata, Document Management, BI/PerformancePoint, Workflows/Forms, Portals and custom web parts & features

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows platform & network infrastructure / Cloud computing & Active Directory.• Ability to develop and document farm-level, site-collection-level, and site-level architecture for SharePoint environment,; lead technical design reviews for architectural enhancements• Experience using SharePoint integration with 3rd party applications & databases

REQUIRED EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field. Years of experience can substitute for formal education.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:None required. Technical and/or Project management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
