Description We are seeking a Systems Administrator in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry, located in Ridgeville, South Carolina. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity where you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer systems, network devices, and storage devices. The responsibilities will include administering and supporting core Microsoft 365, Meraki, Linux, NAS, and VMware/ESX technologies, among others.Responsibilities:

Provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for computer systems, network equipment, and storage solutions.

Monitor system performance, handle configuration tasks, carry out maintenance, and perform repairs as needed.

Install and configure servers, networking hardware, firewalls, and storage devices.

Administer and support key technologies including Microsoft 365, Meraki, Linux, NAS, and VMware/ESX.

Maintain accurate inventory and asset configuration documentation.

Create and provide training and documentation for existing and new technologies.

Lead projects and develop solutions in alignment with strategic goals.

Research and suggest innovative methods for system administration tasks.

Assist in designing and engineering new infrastructure-related technology solutions.

Quickly respond to help desk requests for malfunctioning equipment and other departmental needs.

Work closely with other infrastructure teams and IT hardware service vendors.

Oversee the ordering, organization, and maintenance of mobile devices, supporting employees in their use.

Install, maintain, and upgrade all LAN and local printers.

Conduct routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.

Requirements Must have a strong understanding of Cisco Technologies

Proficiency in managing and maintaining Database systems Experience with Linux Technologies is required Familiarity with Active Directory management and operations Knowledge of Backup Technologies is essential for data protection Ability to handle and troubleshoot Computer Hardware Experience in Configuration Management is necessary Must be able to coordinate and manage Deployments effectively Proficiency in using Meraki technology for network management Knowledge and experience in VMware for virtualization and cloud computing.
