Janitorial Worker

Custodian$15 / HR | Greenville, SCOverview:Join our team as an Environmental Services Housekeeper and contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and staff as an EVS Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in infection prevention and control by ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, common areas, and other hospital facilities.Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming patient rooms, corridors, and other assigned areas.

Disinfect high-touch surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of infections.

Collect and dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to hospital protocols.

Restock supplies such as toiler paper, soap, and paper towels in restrooms and other designated areas.

Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a hazard-free work environment.

Collaborate with other EVS team members and hospital staff to meet cleanliness standards and address any cleaning-related issues promptly.

Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or environmental services preferred.

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays as needed.
