Seeking jr business analyst with financial / securities / trading Index Change, Benchmark and Indices Operations analyst for hybrid role in Fort Mill SC .If interested , share your word document resume, work authorization, expected hourly pay rate , current location, availability for( Hybrid) work , skill stack and LinkedIn.Role ProfileThe role sits within Index Change and works very closely with the Index Operations & Reviews, Technology and Research & Analytics teams. Index Change is part of the Benchmark and Indices Operations Division. The role reports into the Head of Index Changer, based in Fort Mill. The role is strategic and was brought in to bridge the gap between Technology and the Business. Index Change is responsible for all elements of Business Change of the London Stock Exchange. It is a global group, with teams in London, Taipei, and Fort Mill. The group operates a “follow the sun model” and works as a single team across the different time zones. This role will encompass all asset classes and data elements, working with the teams in each location and strategic partners to achieve the objectives. The role sits within a SAFE Agile development methodology, the successful applicant will be a strong team player who is a self-starter with strong UAT experience. In addition to requiring a strong UAT background, this role looks to provide a point of contact who can speak on behalf of the business at key stakeholder meetings. The intention is the ICL can feedback to the scrum teams to prevent the Business having to dial into lots of calls.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe individual will be responsible for key areas that include, but are not limited to: • Ensuring that the development process is being demonstrably followed• Sign off business requirements for completeness and ability to create and validate test cases from user stories• Ensure full SDLC governance is followed• Liaison with Development, QA, and the end users (Business)• Provide a relationship with the Business so updates can be channelled to them.• Ability to create E2E business scenarios that are not documented in user stories, working with the business to understand these operational flows• Support the development of business requirements• Peer Review and sign off UAT Test Plans and Scripts written by UAT Analysts & Senior UAT Analysts• Provide support and council to UAT analyst & Senior UAT Analyst.• Represent Index change from initialisation phase right through to implementation.• Team player, working with the team to help resolve production issues, maintain environments, and improve overall quality within the team.• Support the business on recent system enhancements• Evaluates the feasibility of change initiatives, including liaising with internal and external stakeholders to understand their new and emerging needs and experience with LSEG indexes and authorising and steering agreed change initiatives• Supports continuous improvement initiatives to Index Management processes, frameworks and practices, staying abreast of and applying external best practices• Manages the performance and development of Analysts and/or Senior Analysts as necessary. Candidate Profile / Key SkillsQUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE • Excellent communication skills allowing an ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the company and with external clients/suppliers• Excellent knowledge of financial markets – Fixed Income and Equities especially• Commercial experience implementing projects within a financial institution• Good attention to detail is essential• Ability to relate to commercial as well as technical staff at all levels within FTSE Russell is important• Ability to manage Projects from an Index Change perspective and see advice from our business on calls that need to be made.• Ability to provide constructive feedback to UAT analysts & Snr UAT Analysts.• Ability to challenge technology requirements and be the voice of the business.• Ability to cascade information back to the business.• Have excellent Microsoft office knowledge with a focus on Excel• Provide a monthly report on current Projects that assigned to ICL• Be available for Monthly Project Operational Forum to discuss in flight projects and provide key updates where required, also need to able to answer any questions or concerns that the business may have.• Familiar with various test products and tools (e.g. Quality Center, Jira etc.) TYPE OF PERSON • Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong background in software quality assurance• Enthusiastic with an ability to operate in a dynamic environment and to work to tight deadlines• Methodical approach to work with a high attention to detail• Quick learner• Ability to resolve problems in a logical manner• Excellent communicator, ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within the company and with external clients/customers GENERAL • Comfortable with flexible hours• Team player• Highly motivated• Self-starter- ID: #48992427
