Jr. Technical Analyst (Remote)

Position Description We are seeking Technical analysts with good Technical Analysis skills and an effective technical aptitude and experience. You will be expected to leverage your technical & functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutions. In addition, this position requires creativity, independent thinking, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Your future duties and responsibilities Good problem solving, investigative, analytical, debugging, and technical skills (see list) are required as there are a broad set of components in the solutions, and dexterity across the component set is needed. When resolving issues, in addition to tracking down the problem, the ability to develop a solution, implement it, test, and document results in a meaningful way is required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role Experience with production application operations and an understanding of general principles of systems support desirable. Good communication skills (written and oral) are needed as routine interaction with clients and project teams is normal business operation.

REQUIRED SKILLS:• Functional knowledge of ONTAP CLI, System Manager, and NetApp monitoring tools (Cloud Insights, Unified Manager, etc)• Proficiency with NetApp storage provisioning concepts such as SVMs, flexvols, flexgroups, LIFs, LUNs, igroups, LUN mapping, CIFS share, Homedir, and NFS exports• Client-side protocol (SMB/CIFS and NFS) administration and architecture/troubleshooting considerations• Experience in NetApp's data protection and disaster recovery concepts using Snapshots, Snapmirror, SVM-DR.

DESIRED SKILLS:• Familiarity with Brocade DCX 8510-8 and X6-8 switches• Possess a working knowledge on the Fabric O/S command line interface.• Proficiency with SAN administrative concepts such as zoning, zonesets, aliases, etc• Work with server administrators to gather necessary information to create, update, or decommission zones and aliases• Understanding of disaster recovery in a san environment

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's Degree

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $40,000-$70,000
