This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading devices. The candidate will also troubleshoot problem areas in person, or remotely in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required. Provides occasional functional guidance to less experienced LAN Administrators. An incumbent is monitored on performance to established service levels for the department. Requires guidance in complex problem areas, errors may cause significant delay, expense and disruption.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience3+ years providing hardware and software support for laptops, desktops, rugged devices (Toughbooks/Touchpads), tablets (iPad, Microsoft Surface), Smart Phones, Printers, etc.

Deploy images to workstations via SCCM

Provide second level support (first level is Helpline) for hardware, software issues.

Manage large volumes of imaging requests.

Deliver and install IT workstation hardware and peripherals.

Managing a high volume of IT requests for hardware and software related issues via Service Now ticketing system.

Experience supporting HP Follow me printing/plotters.

Potential for heavy lifting

Proficient in Microsoft O365 Applications, Windows OS 10/11, IOS and MAC OS versions.

Additional Skills:

Experience in data communications is desired. Incumbents should have a good understanding and knowledge of software applications and hardware.

Customer Service Skills: Possesses a broad understanding of customer needs and of how to meet those needs. Demonstrates a sense of urgency in addressing issues affecting their customer and takes ownership of the issues affecting them.

Technical: Have the ability to translate IT terminology in a way the average user can understand. Maintains a solid strategy for efficient problem diagnosis. Ability to focus on the real issues involved.

Expert communicator: Must be an able listener. Communicates early and often with the customer and leadership keeping them informed of the situation.

Judgement: Ability to respond to multiple customer and employee/contractor requests or demands. Manages workload by wisely prioritizing his or her tasks often and adjusting to the situation at hand.

Teamwork: Willingly cooperates and works collaboratively towards solutions that benefit all parties and accomplishes company/group objectives.
