Purpose:
Support the Design/Build team by implementing CAD workflows, conducting site inventory and analysis, preparing comprehensive estimates including material takeoffs and labor costs, and participating in initial sales training to assist in client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Use CAD software (entry-level proficiency) to support landscape design implementation, site inventory, and analysis under supervision.
Assist with preparation of detailed project estimates, including material quantities, labor, and subcontractor costs.
Collaborate with project managers and sales team to gather site data and client requirements.
Participate in initial sales training and support sales staff in lead follow-up and client communication.
Maintain accurate and organized project files and documentation.
Support smooth project handoff from design and estimating through to execution teams.
Stay updated on landscape design principles and estimating best practices relevant to high-end residential and commercial projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Entry-level proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar).
Some experience or formal education in landscape design preferred.
Basic understanding of construction materials, labor costing, and project estimating is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to learn sales fundamentals through training.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced design and estimating environment.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits if required.
