Job Description

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the oversight of the conveyor line, casepackers, automatic inspection machines and removing obstructions (bottles and cartons) to maintain continuousprocessing of ware.
  • You will also have to monitor bottle and carton coders, CMI's, carton printing, gluing bottle detectors, and discarding defective ware to cullet conveyor.
  • Observes conveyors, automatic inspection equipment, casepackers, for obstructions and make sure they are operating properly, and lines are continuously supplied with cartons.
  • Unjams lines, removesobstructions from conveyor, automatic inspection equipment, casepackerto maintain continuous processing of ware.
  • Stand up down ware and check for chipped and bruised finishes. Report findings to Crew Leader or Mechanics.
  • Perform frequency checks on CMI's for check base, check bottle coding, carton coding, mispack detector, and carton gluing.
  • Empty and discard down ware and cullet in roll outpans.
  • Turns off equipment in case of malfunction and notifies supervisor or maintenance.
  • Hand pack as necessary or when casepacker is malfunctioning. Off-load filled cartons when full carton line is down.
  • Clean work area by sweeping floors using broom or air hose.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in manufacturing or production preferred.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate usingEnglishlanguage
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
