Come and discover the opportunity to join our Orrcon Steel business in our Westall Manufacturing team as a Loader Operator. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe andleading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

This opportunity will see you operate heavy machinery to create smarter solutions for our customers, while monitoring product quality andremaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Loader Operator role, allowing for future career development opportunities.

We are seeking individuals who are keen to further their skills in an operations environment and utilise existing experience in heavy machine operations, forklift and gantry crane operations and manoeuvring trucks, (onsite only)

Working Monday to Friday on afternoon shift 2:00pm to 10:00pm

As an experienced loader operator this role will see you:

• operate heavy machinery to process our steel products
• safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks
• operate remote control gantry cranes and forklifts
• accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
• successfully contribute to a safe working environment

We are on the lookout for dedicated team players who have:

• experience operating heavy machinery within a steel processing environment or have little exposure but willing to learn
• flexible to work afternoon shift
• strong communication, problem solving and self-management skills
• the ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
• a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• high commitment to safety
