We are currently looking for a PRN LPNto join our General Med/Surg unit at Grand Strand Medical Center.

2 East (General Med/Surg) is a 38 bed fast paced Medical Surgical Unit. We care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical issues, end of life care, or who are recovering from surgery.

What you will do in this role:

• You will maintain overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients as directed by the RN
• Youwill administer medications in accordance with physician orders
• You will instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State LPN license

• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
