Machinist CNC Operator

Description: The candidate will run a Haas CNC as needed, make simple offsets and set their own tools, will work with senior level machinists in the hangers as needed doing bushing repairs, work on manual mills and lathes to support product needs. Other typical machine shop functions as need by supervision. A basic shadowed tool box is required.Candidates must be able to work 1st or second shift on a 4x10 schedule (e.g. Mon-Thurs)Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:3 to 8 years job experience operating CNC machines.Experience with HAAS Milling CentersExperience with both Manual Lathes & MillsAbility to read and interpret drawings/Blueprints (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing).Candidates must be experienced with using precision measuring equipment, such as dial calipers, micrometers, scales and gauges to check parts machined against requirements for accuracy and operational sequence.Practice FOD control and Basic house keepingDesired Skills:Operate and edit CNC equipment and working with engineering drawings and/or 3D models using Master CAM and or Feature CAM.Ability to use HAAS Controllers.Degree in Machine tool Technology and CNC programming.Clearance Level: NoneOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.
