As a Manager, Cloud Security Engineering this role will manage the project deliverables for a team of Cloud Security Architects, Engineers, and Business Analysts covering our AWS and Azure Infrastructure as a Service.Position Purpose:Develops cloud automation routines to streamline operations. Analyzes, streamlines, and automates operational tasks and processes to protect the organization's cloud infrastructure components against adversaries as well as helps build cloud security systems and solutions. Defines cloud security standards as well as implements and maintains technologies to measure conformance against cloud security standards. Develops cloud reference architectures to identify, support, and configure cloud infrastructure and cloud native security solutions.  Conducts approvals, performance management reviews, personnel development tasks for the Cloud Security Assessment team.Keeps abreast with industry trends, sets strategy and leadership vision for Cloud Security Assessment team.Counsels and advises senior leadership on best practices and potential Courses of Action for increasing viability of cloud application and cloud platform assessments.Collaborates with other departments to protect the company and improve security posture.Assists with the education and interpretation of compliance activities for cloud application architects, engineers, and security assessment analysts.Conducts and engages in regular meetings with leadership and peers (public speaking and executive presence that solicits attention).Mentors and guides security engineers.Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, and provides leadership, technical guidance and coaching.Shares knowledge and develops staff capabilities to strengthen understanding of business issues and best practices.Develops and communicates organizational objectives; inspires and motivates team members to achieve results.Performs other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.Education/Experience:Requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.Technical Skills:Experience with AWS and Azure requiredExperience with Infrastructure As A Service (IaaS); Platform as a Service (PaaS); Software as a Service (SaaS) requiredKnowledge of Other: Cloud native and third-party security solutions requiredSoft Skills:Ability to lead/manage othersCollaboration and team building skillsEffectively coaches and delivers constructive feedbackInstills commitment to organizational goalsAbility to communicate and make recommendations to upper managementEffective conflict management skillsDevelops and delivers effective presentationsDemonstrated negotiation skillsLicense/Certification:CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional requiredAmazon Web Services (AWS) Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate or Professional Cloud Security Engineer requiredOur Comprehensive Benefits Package: Flexible work solutions including remote options, hybrid work schedules and dress flexibility, Competitive pay, Paid time off including holidays, Health insurance coverage for you and your dependents, 401(k) and stock purchase plans, Tuition reimbursement and best-in-class training and development.Centene is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity, and values the ways in which we are different.
