Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Maximo Systems Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Maximo to meet the specific client requirements. The key tasks and responsibilities include:

Collaborate with clients to define the future state and vision for their Maximo solution.

Identify, recommend, and implement industry best practices, process methodologies, and new technologies to optimize system performance and efficiency.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for IBM's Maximo, ensuring a stable platform for daily operations.

Assist clients with data implementation and collection, offering technical and business-level support, resolving incidents, generating reports, and providing daily assistance.

Continuously improve the functionality, reliability, availability, performance, stability, sustainability, and security of the Maximo application, databases, and associated tools.

Additionally, the professional may be expected to:

Stay up-to-date with the latest Maximo releases, updates, and industry trends.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Maximo with other business systems and applications.

Conduct system performance analyses, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.

Develop and deliver training programs to educate users on Maximo functionality and best practices.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and migrations as required.

Maintain and enhance the functionality, reliability, availability, performance, stability, sustainability, and security of the Maximo application and its databases and tools

Create and improve existing Maximo workflows to manage work management, logistics, and property management processes.

Oversee the validation and testing of deliverable products in accordance with our customer's approved business processes

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Eligibility to obtain Secret Security Clearance

US Citizenship

Ability to communicate effectively

Bachelor's Degree in the field of computer science or related discipline or equivalent experience.

4+ years of Maximo Development experience

Expert knowledge of Maximo

Maximo versions: at least Maximo 7.6, and practical knowledge of Maximo 8. Must be able to work on upgrades and development on 7.6.1.2, and MAS 8

Maximo modules: must be able to work on all Maximo modules and functionalities, including Work Order Management, Asset Management, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance, Configuration, Scripting, Report Development, Maximo Interfaces with other systems like ERP Deltek CostPoint.

Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

Excellent analytical and technical skills

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Preferred Skills

IT certifications are a plus

Maximo certifications are desirable
